After

being

advised

as

to

the

identity

of

the

interviewing

agent

and

the

nature

of

tbeinterview,

Weeden

provided

the

followinginformation:

On

the

day

ofthe

shooting,

Weedenwas

in

the

cafeteria

during

all

offourthperiod

and

during

lunch,beginning

at

approximately

10:20

am.Weedenwas

sitting

at

the

cafeteria

table

marked

L

on

the

diagram

sketchduring

fourth

period

and

lunch.

weeden

estimates

that

there

were

50

students

inthe

cafeteria

during

fourth

period.

Weeden

recalls

that

Stephanie

Martin

waa

aitting

with

herfourthperiod,

but

did

not

atayfor

lunch.

Chris

Lucas

and

KatiePlace

were

also

in

the

cafeteria

fourth

period,

but

were

sitting

by

the

stairs.

first

noticed

that

something

was

wrong,

when

students

started

getting

under

the

tables.

Weeden

looked

out

the

west

cafeteria

windows

and

briefly

saw

one

person

in

a

blacktrenchcoat

going

up

the

stairs

just

northwest

ofthe

cafeteria.

The

individual

had

a

rifle

in

his

left

hand

and

it

was

pointed

at

the

ground.

Weeden

thinkstheindividual

was

wearing

a

hat

or

cap.

Weeden

couldnot

see

his

pants.

weeden

only

saw

theindividual

from

behind

and

couldnot

describe

him

further.

Weeden

thengot

down

under

her

table

and

did

notseeanything

else

that

was

going

on

outsidethe

cafeteria.

Weeden

could

hearshots

outside

and

most

of

thestudents

in

the

cafeteria

started

running.

Weeden

stayed

under

her

table

and

could

see

that

some

of

the

students

that

ran

up

the

stairs

were

turning

aroundand

tryingto

come

back

down

to

the

cafeteria.

Weeden

thought

that

there

was

shootinggoing

on

upstairs

as

well.

Most

ofthe

students

that

came

back

down

the

stairs,

then

ran

out

thestudent

only

from

Weeden's

table

that

stayed

in

the

cafeteria.

Weeden

thinks

that

there

were

at

least

fiveother

students

that

stayed

in

the

cafeteria

as

well.

While

Weedenwas

under

the

table,

some

ofthe

janitors

were

running

aroundand

trying

to

goup

the

stairs

but

someonewas

shooting

at

them

from

the

top

of

the

stairs.

Weeden

recalls

that

someone

threwsomething

down

the

stairs

that

exploded

and

caused

a

light

to

break.

After

a

while,

twogunmencamedown

the

stairs.

One

ofthe

gunmenwas

wearing

a

white

shirt,

blue

pants,

and

a

vest,

which

held

SOme

of

his

gear.

He

also

was

carrying

a

rifle.

The

other

gunman

was

wearing

a

black

trenchcoat,black

baseball

cap,

and

had

a

smaller

pistol-like

gun.

Weeden

thinks

the

one

in

theblacktrenchcoat

was

the

samegunman

she

saw

on

the

stairs

outsidethe

cafeteria.

Weeden

could

not

describethe

gunmen

or

their

weapons

any

further.

When

they

camedown

the

stairs,

the

one

in

the

White

sbirt

stayed

on

the

stairs

while

the

one

in

the

blacktrenchcoat

walked

to

thenortheast

corner

ofthe

cafeteria

and

started

shooting

at

the

tables

and

chairs

in

the

middle

of

the

cafeteria.

Weeden

heard

the

gunman

on

the

stairs

tell

the

gunman

inthe

black

trenchooat

to

shoot

from

the

northeast

cornerof

the

cafeteria

and

then

told

him

to

come

back

and

shoot

from

the

southea.st

corner.

Afterthe

gunman

in

the

blacktrenchcoat

finished

shooting,

the

gunman

in

the

white

shirt

camedown

from

the

stairs,

stood

in

the

middle

ofthe

east

end

ofthe

cafeteria,

and

started

shooting

at

the

middle

of

the

cafeteria

as

well.

Weeden.

does

not

knowhowmany

shotsthey

fired.

About

this

time

a

large

fire

suddenly

erupted

in

the

middle

of

the

cafeteria

nearthe

west

pillar.

Weeden

does

not

know

where

the

fire

Came

from

or

what

cause

the

fire.

Weeden

does

not

recall

the

fire

being

accompanied

with

any

explosion.

When

the

fire

started,

all

ofthe

remaining

students

in

the

cafeteria

suddenly

jumpedup

and

ranout

the

southdoors

of

the

cafeteria.

Weedenwas

the

last

one

out

and

heard

one

of

the

gunmen

yell

as

she

was

going

out

the

door.

Weeden

paused

andlookedback.

Shesaw

the

gunman

in

the

black

trenchcoatstanding

in

thesoutheast

corner

ofthe

cafeteria,

butcouldnotsee

the

other

gunman.She

heard

one

of

them

yell

again

and

she

turned

and

ran

out

of

the

cafeteria.

Weeden

does

not

know

what

was

yelled

and

does

not

know

if

they

were

yelling

at

her

or

if

they

were
