What is Metal storm technology

Metal storm technology is an
electronically initiated, stacked
projectile system that removes
the mechanical elements
required to fire conventional
weapons. Effectively, the only
moving parts in this weaponry
technology are the projectiles
themselves. Multiple
projectiles are stacked in each
barrel. The technology allows
each projectile to be fired
sequentially from each barrel.
Therefore, the rate of fire is
capable of allowing each
projectile to be less than a
centimeter apart during a full
automatic assault. Due to the
light weight of Metal Storm
barrels, most non-infantry
configurations use multiple
barrels, usually between 4 and
64. This provides increased

During an open assault, gun jams can be life
threatening; leaving you exposed and helpless in the
face of the enemy.
 Firing 3 rounds in a split second before the gun recoils
means the bullets can be delivered with deadly
accuracy. By removing the mechanical firing
mechanism from the weapon, Metal storm has not only
been made reliable – but also the most powerful
automatic gun in the world. Metal storm can fire a hail
of bullets in 2 modes. It can unleash a stream of bullets
effectively making an air born supersonic metal spear
that is able to pierce through armor. Its second mode,
is an unstoppable wall of bullets fired out of multiple
barrels. Using 9 mm rounds, Metal storm can fire up to
a million rounds per minute, able to intercept an
inbound supersonic missile in a split second.

But Metal storm is capable of so much more. Replace
these bullets with 9 mm grenades, a wall of these high
explosives will flatten buildings and crush hard concrete
bunkers from maximum impact. Metal storm can now
deliver these warheads with deadly accuracy. It can
obliterate a whole battalion of tanks and armored
vehicles within the blink of an eye.
 Metal storm defense systems are as sinister as it is
deadly. Metal storm doesn’t even need to be manned; it
can be left completely unattended, a silent assassin
waiting for its prey. Its sensors can detect anything that
approaches.
