Althouh Indonesia has 150 septae treatment plants, 90 percent are no loner in operation and only four percent of collected septaeis treated at a facility. As the government of Indonesia strives to rehabilitate the country’s STPs, the country will need reateremphasis on policy development, aency coordination, local capacity buildin, and private sector enaement.
