Northeast Queens, NY - After outpacing all other candidates to become the only candidate to max out for the Democratic Primary in the 19th Council District, Austin Shafran continued to build widespread labor support with a slate of new endorsements from key labor unions. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3, Communication Workers of America Local 1106, Plumbers Local 1, and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 94, which collectively represent tens of thousands of workers, all announced their endorsement of Shafran.
