REHABILITATION ASSIGNMENT
: OF Franklin Gutierrez began his rehabilitation assignment with Tacoma last night. Gutierrez went 1-for-5 with a RBI batting 2nd as a DH last night for the Rainiers. Gutierrez was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstringon April 23. Gutierrez was batting .259 (14x54) with 3 doubles, 4 home runs (3 leadoff HR) and 10 RBI in 16 games (13 GS in CF) thisseason for Seattle. This will be the 5th trip to the disabled list for Gutierrez since the start of the 2011 season.
