We are planning an exciting and informative series of workshops and programs. For 33 years, AAHGS has held a nationalconference to assist African Americans in the search for their roots.

The city boasts the world-class Nashville International Airport, which is sevenmiles from the hotel and is serviced by major carriers. It has 385 daily flights toand from 78 markets. American Airlines and Southwest Airlines are the city’stop two carriers. Other airlines that daily fly into the city are USAirways,Continental, Delta, Northwest, Skyway, United Express, Frontier, Air Canada,and Jazz. $20 airport shuttle, including to downtown locations. Because of itscentral location, with Tennessee being bordered by eight states, more visitorsdrive to Nashville than fly.
Special room rates of $108.00 (single/double) are available for AAHGSconference registrants. The conference room rate is available beginning onMonday, October 7
through Monday, October 14, for individuals wanting toarrive early to conduct personal research or attend the pre-conference tourswhich events take place October 8-10. There is a sales tax of 15.25% and $2.50city tax on each guest room.

All cancellations must be in writing and postmarked no later than 1 August,2013. All cancellations will be subject to a $50.00 processing fee.
