Thomas PatrickMorrison Foundation
The Thomas Patrick Morrison Foundation wascreated to honor the legacy of Thomas Patrick Morrison. Thomas Patrick Morrison was bornon October 23, 2005 and passed into eternalrest on January 20, 2006. During the secondday of Thomas’ short life, doctors diagnosedhim with a metabolic disorder of unknownorigin. Metabolic disorders are extremely rareconditions that generally prevent the bodyfrom properly metabolizing nutrients resultingin toxicity and, in certain cases, organ failure.Children suffering from metabolic disorders
often die during the rst year of life. Thomas’
condition caused his death just three days shyof his three-month birthday.Thomas’ parents created the Foundation, a501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization,
to provide nancial support to children and
families of children suffering from metabolicdisorders and similarly devastating rarediseases and conditions. Through thegenerosity of our donors, the Foundation is
able to make nancial awards to families whoare struggling with nances. The nancial grants
help to cover utility bills, mortgages and otherliving expenses. To date the Foundation has
made nancial grants to thirteen families and
provided hundreds of free meal cards to thefamilies of hospitalized children. Without yoursupport, these children and families might havenowhere to turn in their time of great need.
