Description

I have long had an immense fascination with novels of Raymond Chandler, having read most of them several times in adult life.

Nevertheless they do seem a little dated when read in the twenty-first century - they were originally written in the 1930s and 1940s - with incidents and descriptions severely constrained by the social conventions of the time.

So, here is The Big Sleep, my own tribute to the life and works of the late great Mr. Chandler, and closely based on his novel of the same name.

I have re-set Chandler's story against a future background of decayed and anachronistic technology, in a artificial domed habitat populated by cynical people and cheap cyborgs and antique robots, all orbiting a moon of Saturn.
