Little knowledge is the dangerous thing
Modern society is inclines to base on knowledge and information. Some peoplebelieve that one of the drawbacks of lacking knowledge is to put us in danger whileothers claim thathaving little information assists us to feel relax and joyful. My writing is to supportto the former idea for the following reasons.First, in authoritarian regime, because of having a lot of knowledge and informationof the internal system, people live under scrutiny and even are arrested for noreason. However, it is undeniablethat as a consequence of obtaining little information, people are easily tricked bythe government. Obviously, when citizens do not concern politics, the governmentcan do whatever they want, as a result, corruption and red-tape becomewidespread. North Korea is a stark example of a poor nationpreventing people from internet and news coming from the outside and theapparatus of thiscountry; hence, they can pursuit various insane goals including weapons and armyeven the people’s starving. Put it simply, illiterate people often suffer wishfulleaders and corrupt institutionsAnother criticism is that common people like farmers who are not well-educated andbusywith making ends meet often have a peaceful life. By contrast, it is clear that hardlydo farmers have sustainable life because their work depends on unpredictableconditions such as weather, natural disaster… It is irrefutable that so scarce is theirknowledge that workers’ assiduity brings littleprofit. On the other hand, in developed nations, they transfer make-work to poorones and purchase their ideas and services, which brings a great amount of money.In brief, knowledge is a key to succeed in modern society.Last but not least, it is argued that children who are innocent can enjoy happylife, while adults being mature always deal with stress and strain. Nevertheless, it isundoubtedthat had it not been for our maturity, we could have not experienced the miracle of life including love, friendship… (were it not for our maturity, we could notexperience the miracles of life including love, friendship..) More importantly (Moreimportant), lacking awareness of the surrounds, people tend to make mistake ormisunderstand things or , which puts a cap on our growth. It is palpable that due to
