Dear Sir, Please refer to the Office Memo vide No. C.III-EC (665)-3/4854 and dated January 28, 2013 issued by Registrar, AMU on the implementation of the Executive Council approved Rules and Procedures of the AMU Committee against Sexual Harassment and for Gender Sensitization (hereinafter referred to as CASHFGS). Under Section 6(1) read with Section 7(1) I may be informed on the document mentioned hereinabove with the following points: 1. Furnish the action taken report/steps taken by the concerned authorities of AMU Administration and also by each of its Department/Centre/Halls and all other bodies to fulfill the clauses in Section XXIV called Obligations of University Authorities and Functionaries in the CASHFGS also read Section XXIV(f) of CASHFGS. 2. Furnish the address of the Office of the Committee of CASHFGS and mention about the budget allocated to it as mentioned in the Section XXIV (e) of CASHFGS. 3. Furnish the facts and reasons for fulfilling the duty as mentioned in the clauses and sections mentioned in Question No.1 & 2. 4. Furnish the Action Taken Report/ steps taken by the CASHFGS to fulfil its functions under the Section XIV(a), (b) and (c) of the CASHFGS rules and procedures approved by the EC. 5. Furnish the number of workshops, programmed and other functions organized by AMU Administration and CASHFGS to tell the female students and employees about the CASHFGS rules and procedures. 6. Please provide the link on the University website where the AMU administration has advertised the CASHFGS rules like in JNU website http://www.jnu.ac.in/AboutJNU/GSCASH.asp 7. Furnish the facts and reasons for not starting a separate section of CASHFGS section on the University website with all required information for the wide publicity of these rules and procedures as mandated in the EC approved CASHFGS rules. 8. Names and designations of the officers who were supposed to take action on implementation of CASHFGS and who had not done so.
