 Note from Jennifer James:
Welcome to the Mom Bloggers Club Ambassador Team!
I created the Mom Bloggers Club in October 2007 as a hobby. As a mom bloggersince 2004 I wanted to find other mom bloggers on the Net and I wanted to create acentral place where mom bloggers could converge to get information about how tostart blogging and how to become a better blogger. And, I wanted to create a placewhere mom bloggers could meet one another. To date, there are over 3700 mombloggers in the club ranging from seasoned bloggers to bloggers who literallystarted blogging 15 minutes prior to joining. As a Mom Bloggers Club Ambassador you will help keep the community engaging, fun to visit, and help make it the definitive go-to site for mom bloggers.
Principle Duties:
1.
Welcome new members:
One of the things members like most about theMom Bloggers Club is being welcomed to the club. It has really become amainstay of the MBC, so when you’re logged on, it would be nice if youwelcomed new members to the club through their comments or throughinternal MBC email.2.
Drive the conversation on the site:
One of the aspects of a good socialnetwork is the amount of activity that takes place. When you are logged on,please respond to questions moms pose in the forum or in any groups youare a member of. If there is an interesting blog post that a member writes, consider leaving them a comment. It makes them feel like an integral part of the community and that their post was appreciated. You

can also jumpstartquestions in the forum to get moms thinking and ignite vigorousconversations.

3.
Moderate for objectionable content:
All-in-all, the Mom Bloggers Club is apretty drama-free social network, but drama does crop up from time to time.If you happen to see any discussions or comments that are getting out of hand feel free to “X” the content out.4.
Help members:
There will be a new “Help” forum created on the site wheremembers can go to ask questions about how to use the site. When you arelogged on, please respond to the questions that members ask.
Ideas:
I always love hearing ideas about ways to improve the Mom Bloggers Club. If youhave any ideas on how you think the Mom Bloggers Club could become an evenbetter community, please email me at
