REHABILITATION ASSIGNMENT

Franklin Gutierrez
began his rehabilitation assignment with Tacoma on Thursday night. Gutierrezis batting .188 (3x16) with 2 RBI and 1 walk in 3 games with Tacoma. Gutierrez was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained righthamstring on April 23. Gutierrez was batting .259 (14x54) with 3 doubles, 4 home runs (3 leadoff HR) and 10 RBI in 16 games (13 GS inCF) this season for Seattle. This will be the 5th trip to the disabled list for Gutierrez since the start of the 2011 season. RH
Josh Kinney
 made his first rehab appearance with Tacoma last night, tossing a scoreless 8th inning. Kinney has not appeared in a game since March 6when he was forced to leave a game after two-thirds of an inning with pain on his left side. He is currently on the 60-day disabled list with astress recation in his third rid on his left side.
