    DearHons.LizSandalsandKathleenWynne, GivenThat Followingthe2012enactmentofBill13,theAcceptingSchoolsAct,theOntario EducationActnowstatesthat: 303.1(1)Everyschoolboardshallsupportpupilswhowanttoestablishandlead activitiesandorganizationsthatpromoteasafeandinclusivelearning environment,theacceptanceofandrespectforothersandthecreation ofapositiveschoolclimate,including (d)activitiesororganizationsthatpromotetheawarenessandunderstandingof, andrespectforpeopleofallsexualorientationsandgenderidentities, includingorganizationswiththenamegaystraightallianceoranothername. AndThat FollowingtheenactmentofBill13,theOntarioEducationActnowstatesthat: 303.1(2)Forgreatercertainty,neithertheboardnortheprincipalshallrefusetoallow apupiltousethenamegaystraightallianceorasimilarnameforan organizationdescribedinclause(1)(d). AndThat FollowingtheenactmentofBill13,theOntarioEducationActnowstatesthat: 303.1(5)Aboardshallcomplywiththissectioninawaythatdoesnotadversely affectanyrightofapupilguaranteedbytheCanadianCharterofRights andFreedoms.
