Inserting a Movie into your Edublogs ePortfolio
1.Export your movie from the application you are using. Export the movie as a Web size .mov or .mp4. If theapplication (e.g. iMovie, iPhoto, I Can Animate, Kid Pix etc.) does not let you export to either of these formats useQuickTime Pro and export into a .mp4 (this will maintain the quality but use a smaller file size). Use the settingsshown below if you are using QT Pro.2. Go to Teacher Tube (http://teachertube.com)3. Sign in to our school account by clicking the link in the top right corner. Our username is

Upload
button in the right hand corner.5. Enter details as required. You need to enter information in all boxes and tick at least 2 channels. Click Continuewhen finished.6.Browse for your exported movie and clic

8. When the upload is complete, you will get a confirmation message.9. Click on the
My Videos
link to find your movie.10.Click on the video thumbnail to locate the embed code.11. Scroll down on the right hand side until you locate the embed code for
Edublogs
. Click in it to highlight and thenApple-C to copy it.12. Login to your ePortfolio and click on
Write a New Post
. 14. Give the post a title and write a sentence or two to describe the movie and what you were learning to do.15.Click on the HTML tab.16.Place the cursor where you want the movie to go and Apple-V to paste in the embed code. It will look a bitstrange but don’t worry about that!
