Objective of the Survey
The Workosaur Salary Survey is an AnnualSurvey which is conducted with theobjective of providing senior professionalswith data to benchmark their salaryagainst prevailing industry standardswithin their functional area.The functional areas being covered underthis survey are:

Methodology
The Workosaur Salary Survey Report isbased on salary (including variablecomponent) data made available by 3200top professionals in India. We restrictedthe audience to alumni of the top 10business schools in India. This restrictionhas been imposed so that the readers of this survey can benchmark themselvesagainst the best in the industry.Within a particular function, we have thenanalyzed data in clusters – each clusterconsisting of those from a particular b-school batch. The batch was chosen as thebasis of analysis because of the specifictendency exhibited by professionals toknow where they stand amongst theirschool batch.
Findings
For each cluster of data, we have thenpresented a Salary Distribution Chart,Average Annual Salary and a DesignationCloud.The
Salary Distribution Chart
is a pie chartdepicting the distribution, within a cluster,in different annual salary ranges. The
Average Salary
is the mean annual salarywithin a cluster.The
Designation Cloud
is a weighted list of the designations that are common to aparticular cluster with the font-size of aparticular designation corresponding to itsrelative prevalence in that cluster.
