PDL 2000 Sun Hand Held Scan Tool

The very latest development in the Sun Scan Tool range, the PDL 2000 has a clear colour LCD display that has graphing functionality of two live data parameters at a time, and with freeze mode facility. Capable of utilising existing Sun Scan Tool software cartridges, the PDL 2000 has the advantage of also accepting the new updateable EMB software cartridge from Sun.

S.A.I.S Sun Automotive Information System

This fast, icon driven and user friendly information system software provides comprehensive and detailed vehicle data. Installed directly onto the Nexus hard drive, the SAIS data is supplied on an annual subscription basis with free updates sent automatically whilst the subscription is maintained.

SIA 3000 Sun Ignition Analyser

An accurate ignition analyser, the Sun SIA 3000 provides detailed engine information, displayed via the large Nexus colour monitor. This high specification 4-channel lab scope has RPM, primary and secondary functions together with a comprehensive Digital Volt Ohm Meter (DVOM). Information is displayed using screens of high definition graphics; with functions such as freeze frame and various other display options using cursors and grids. By adding the SIA 2000 additional secondary measurement capabilities are achieved using vehicle specific harnesses and adaptors to enable connection without the need to back probe or disturb protective sleeves.

EMB Updateable Information Cartridge

Increasing demand from Technicians for vehicle detail and system information has brought about the introduction of the Sun EMB information cartridge. The Sun EMB cartridge can be programmed with multiple manufacturers vehicle details, selected by the customer to suit his specific needs. Information can be updated quickly and economically via the customers Scanbay interface, and replaces the need for multiple cartridge purchases.

TechWare Link to PDL 2000

TechWare is a Windows based link between the PDL 2000 and Nexus. Providing the ability to store information collected by the PDL 2000 in a number of formats, TechWare has the advantage of saving data with added text to describe a particular screen, or symptom enabling comparisons to be made on specific problems. Using easy to recognise screen icons, TechWare is quick and simple to use.

SSM Sun Smoke Meter

Nexus is a dynamic expanding product, with a planned and structured future of additional modules such as the Sun Smoke Meter. MOT approved and using the latest technology, the SSM is easily installed into Nexus. The Nexus cabinet also provides a dedicated storage area for the smoke head and associated equipment.

DGA 2500 Diagnostic Gas Analyser

As market leaders in MOT approved gas analysers, Sun continues to develop and improve diagnostic gas analysing equipment, and the DGA 2500 maintains this trend. The DGA 2500 is a 5 gas (O2, CO, CO2, HC and NO) Nexus module that employs user-friendly icons to guide the Technician through the test procedure. The clear, high visibility colour graphics make the DGA 2500 a quick, accurate and easy to use diagnostic gas analyser for MOT and tuning applications.

Information and its accuracy are essential in the fast moving world of vehicle diagnostics, and ScanBay is the key to cartridge information updates. Acting as the conduit between the Nexus computer and the EMB cartridge, ScanBay permits the fast download of updated information. Using the Nexus computer, updates or additions are installed via a simple "Drag and Drop" software function.
