Office of the Chief of Protocol; Gifts to Federal Employees from Foreign GovernmentSources Reported to Employing Agencies in Calendar Year 2010
The Department of State submits the following comprehensive listing of the statementswhich, as required by law, Federal employees filed with their employing agencies duringcalendar year 2010 concerning gifts received from foreign government sources. The compilationincludes reports of both tangible gifts and gifts of travel or travel expenses of more than minimalvalue, as defined by statute. Also, included are gifts received in previous years including onegift in 2003, two gifts in 2005, one gift in 2006, five gifts in 2007, seven gifts in 2008, 72 gifts in2009, and eleven gifts with unknown dates of receipt. These latter gifts are being reported in2010 as the Office of the Chief of Protocol, Department of State, did not receive the relevantinformation to include them in earlier reports.Publication of this listing in the
 Federal Register
