Interesting perspective here, it caught my eye while searching for material to make solid counter arguments to the pahnadling fluff promoted by the Church of Scientology's "The Way To Happiness" campaign that used to sublimely recruit interest in their cultish practices and alternative medicine services. I'd love to read your review and thoughts on the "The Way To Happiness" booklet by L. Ron Hubbard as a followup to this piece, cuz i suspect it would make for a very valuable neutral perspective for use by others when evaluating their claims of paid-for salvation = paid-for happiness.
Ain't that the truth. Great article and you're right, you shouldn't need an incentive to help others. Just pay-it-forward.
