Jonathon Porritt, Co-Founder o Forum or the Future, is an eminentwriter, broadcaster and commentator on sustainable development.Established in 1996, Forum or the Future is now the UK’s leadingsustainable development charity, with 70 sta and over 100 partnerorganisations, including some o the world’s leading companies.Jonathon was appointed by the Prime Minister as Chairman o theUK Sustainable Development Commission in July 2000. This is theGovernment’s principal source o independent advice across the wholesustainable development agenda. In addition, he has been a membero the Board o the South West Regional Development Agency sinceDecember 1999, and is Co-Director o The Prince o Wales’s Businessand Environment Programme which runs Senior Executives’ Seminarsin Cambridge, Salzburg, South Arica and the USA.
