NYSDOT MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS ON STATE ROUTES 3 AND 58, ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY Please be advised that the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will begin conducting maintenance operations along State Routes 3 and 58 in St. Lawrence County. Crews will be milling State Route 58 in the village of Gouverneur on May 28 in preparation for paving. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and motorists should expect minor delays. Beginning May 29, Department forces will be milling in the area of Star Lake on State Route 3 in the Towns of Fine and Clifton. Work is expected to be completed by June 7. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and motorists should expect minor delays. Crews will also be performing general maintenance activities such as ditching, culvert replacement, mowing, brush chipping, tree removal and sign repairs. Please, exercise caution in work zones and obey all traffic control devices. ###
