Jelissa decided to go to the local library to see if shecould get more information before she got blown away in the wind.Trash. Everything the library had to offer did not even add up to onesentence, everything a controversy and no solid facts. Jelissa almost growled infrustration. The darn mystery of the Silver Rising (Jahenrha) would last anotherday. Many questions buzzed through Melissa’s mind. Why did no one seem to knowabout it? Why was there no specific location? What was its purpose? The mostimportant questions were why the sudden interest in the silver rising and wouldshe survive if she found out?She went to one the computers and typed in ‘the silver rising’. There wereno results to the search and suggested ‘the golden rising’ and ‘silver moon’. Shethought how strange it was to say silver rising, wasn’t the sun golden after all.Silver mostly indicated the moon and persons normally slept at nights. Jelissatyped in the ‘silver awakening’. It somehow seemed to be closer to what ‘it’ wastrying to perceive or maybe not. The links led to gothic attacks, politics finallygats a silver lining and other insignificant garbage. Jelissa did not know what tosearch for so decided to leave.As she left the library she felt her eyelids drooping and her visionblurring. A yawn escaped her mouth and nothing. “Found anything interesting bychance?” asked a distant voice as though she had dreamt it. Jelissa tried to getup but she couldn’t feel her limbs. “Where the hell am I?” Jelissa demanded,thinking the absolute worst. After a few moments of silence she thought the voicewouldn’t answer but it did. The voice laughed morbidly, “Haven’t you heard thequote ‘look before you leap’?”Jelissa opened her eyes only to find that she was in a garbage heap in frontof the library. At least that explained why her she felt imprisoned. It wasmorning by the looks of thing, cars passing, and people walking by with coffee intheir hands. Jelissa didn’t know how she got there but knew she had to leavebefore someone she knew saw her. She headed home and got herself a bath. She couldnot remember any thing from the day before. Jelissa had the worst headache and wasabout to call in sick when she noticed a paper on the kitchen table. It read“Silver Rising”. Jelissa knew she had heard that term in a lot of gossip beforebut could not imagine why she would have it.The phone began to ring and Jelissa answered it. “Hey Jells, have you heardof the golden dusk?” Jelissa rolled her eyes wondering what was going on now.Gabriella was obsessed with gossip and loved mystery. “No but I’m sure you’regoing to tell me.” Gabriella was silent for a second then replied, “Jells this oneis yours.” Jelissa couldn’t believe it, she was to look up Golden Dusk? She wasstill trying to remember what Silver Rising was.Jelissa decided to check her e-mail. She had no new e-mails so just decidedto do a little research. Jelissa accidentally typed Silver Dusk and was surprisedhow natural it sounded. She gave it a try but there was nothing on it. Jelissa wasitching to read the new series of Blood Lies and then a thought struck. Jelissadecided to go to the local book-store and buy herself a novel.At the book-store she had the strangest feeling that someone was watchingher. Jelissa tried to ignore it and picked up Ghostly Secrets. She read the blurband smiled, it was really scary which was what she wanted. She slowly lifted herhead looking through her eyelashes at the guy she suspected was staring at her.She decided to put all her courage together and just go up to him. As she decided
