The Far Shores Bear no grudge oh my family For life is not mine to control Be Glad of the time you

have had me Be Glad of the joys you have known Be Glad ot the songs we have sung And the places we have gone together Arm in arm, and hand in hand

The Far Shores call me Where those who have gone before Welcome with open arms I go now to my waiting ship To where our ancestors tarry And though you cannot hold my hand And though you must bury me.. Still I will look out on you Still I will gaze warmly into your eyes From those far shores

Perhaps in a dream you will meet me On a pier in a strange harbor In my youth I will be, and new In my age I will be, and in wisdom Perhaps then we will said together

To a far distant shore There to meet again faces lost to time There to meet again faces and voices forgotten
