What a cold, rainy and windyday in Philadelphia! Despite theweather, over 300 peopleshowed up in LOVE Park to protest excessive governmentspending at the April 15thTaxDay Tea Party,from noon to2PM. I arrived with a few mem- bers of theStudent LibertyFront
 
,armed with signs, flagsand liberty oriented propaganda.The crowd consisted of Repub-licans and Libertarians, as wellas some outraged Democrats,upset with recent governmentspending and thespike in na-tional debt that has accompa-nied it.The Philadelphia tea party waslead by Diana and Don Reimer of Landale, PA. There werenumerous speakers who took time out of their day to deliver intense speeches to really rile upthe crowd. Of the most memora- ble, a speech given by 16 year old Jesse -cont page 2-

The parties were led byformer Republican HouseMajority Leader Dick Armey of Texas.I was a little angry at the factthat Barack Obama began aspeech at noon on reformingthe tax code -- the same timethat the Philadelphia tea party began -- stealing the newsspotlight. Even so, Fox Newswas there covering the story.We still have so much work todo, I realized, after leaving therally, freezing cold and sop- ping. With biased news net-works, the average, brain-washed citizen thinking of usas a mockery, and even tothose who think we don't mean business . . . We've got to keep going!I am so proud of everyone who bore the terrible weather tostand up for their rights as citizens of the United States of America -- nothing more, nothing less!
