I have probable cause to believe that James Edward Little, a Black Male DOB: XX/XX/79 Age: 34, committed one or more criminal offense(s). The facts supporting this belief are as follows: The defendant and P.M. had previously dated, and have two children together: J.L., age 9, and J.L., age 12. W.D. was P.M.s fianc. On May 26, 2013, at approximately 6:30 p.m. the defendant dropped off the children at the home of W.D. and P.M. The defendant and P.M. got into a disagreement regarding the care of the children. When the defendant became verbally abusive toward P.M, W.D. spoke up in defense of her. When P.M. and W.D. asked the defendant to leave, the defendant refused. P.M. stood between W.D. and the defendant, asking W.D. to go back inside of the house. The defendant stated to P.M. he was going to kill W.D., then fired multiple shots, striking him in the head, killing him.
