Laurie has many years o non-proft experience including Assistant Directoro Development or United Hospice o Rockland,Inc.; the Director o Public Relations and Marketingor the Jewish Federation o Rockland; Editor o theRockland Jewish Reporter; President o OrangetownJewish Center Sisterhood and Marketing Chair o the campaign cabinet or the frst phase o the JCCRockland’s Capital Campaign.Laurie brings an outstanding combination o organization and development/undraising skills tothe table, and coupled with her sincere passion orher crat, has hit the ground running as she begins theprocess o initiating a plethora o new initiatives insupport o MMCC’s growth goals. It is Laurie’s intent towork with both individuals as well as corporate entitiesin meeting her development goals. These include localMMCC members; Bronx residents; local businessesin the MMCC community; F100 corporations with acommitment to giving back to NYC and specifcally theBronx community; individuals outside o the Bronxcommunity who either through personal donations orthrough their oundations are committed to orwardthinking organizations such as MMCC; and fnally, tothe Bronx diaspora-at-large, scattered throughout theNY/NJ/CT metro area and around the country, peoplewho have ond memories o growing up in the Bronx,and who have a desire to be a part o the reemergenceo the borough by supporting a vital organization likethe Mosholu Montefore Community Center.Laurie is thrilled to be part o MMCC, andlending her expertise and commitment to thecommunity as she moves orward!
