Cloud County is one of the 105 counties in the state of Kansas. The 2007 populationsestimate lists the population to be 9,382. According to 2000 estimates, it has 715.63square miles in land area and a population density of 14.3 people per square mile. Theaverage household size is 2.31 persons (2000) and median household income is$32,706(2004) (US census Bureau).

Cloud County has a population of 9,382 as of July 1, 2007 (US Census Bureau). Thepopulation decreased by 8.63% from the year 2000 to 2007. As per the 2000 censussurvey, population of the county was 10,268 with median age of 41.4 years. In 2000,Cloud County had 17.6% of the population under the age of 15 years, 24.1% in the agegroup 15 to 34 years, 30% in the age group 35 years to 59 years and 28.2% of thepopulation above 60 years of age.
