General PresentationThe Symposium will comprise two days of communications and one-day field trip.The communications are scheduled on:- Friday May, 29

, opening thematic sessions 1, 2, 3 and visit to paleontologicMuseam of Comiso Municipality;- Saturday May, 30

, thematic sessions 4, 5,6 and 7; closing Symposium;The venue for those two days will be the Castle of Donnafugata (15 km far fromRagusa city).On Friday evening, all the attendees are invited to meet in the
Quartier Barocco
of
Ragusa Ibla
for a
Welcome Party
and the presentation of the
Cirenaica Karst Project
at the Theater Donnafugata.A one-day field trip is scheduled on Sunday May, 31
st
(gathering between 8.00 and8.30) to the following places:- Natural Protected Area of “Valle dell’Anapo – Pantalica”;- Natural Protected Area of “Grotta Monello di Siracusa”.
