is togenerate knowledge about issuesconcerning primary health careand support for caregivers of individuals affected by AlzheimerDisease and related dementias.This talk will provide a summaryof the project’s progress to datehighlighting some of the keypreliminary findings from thefamily caregiver perspective.The discussion will then turn toan overview of theservices that caregivers arecurrently accessing in primaryand community care and thebarriers they perceive or haveexperienced in accessing thiscare. This study has been jointlyfunded by the Alzheimer Societyof Canada and the CanadianNurses Foundation. __________________________
