Dear Revolutionary Publishing My colleagues and I at DiskCover Music Collective are in tune with your brilliant idea and agree with the three basic requirements. (NAME OF ONLINE PUBLICATION) whose webzine has signicant embedded video of major recording artistes (NAMES OF ARTISTES AND BANDS) for a music website to be successful it needs to be a must visit place for fans. The use of exclusives (or rst view) is key to this, as it drives the fans to the site - and of course can be marketed through the site with previews. (NAME OF ONLINE PUBLICATION) focusses on showcasing new and emerging talent in (GENRE OF MUSIC) through our research we have discovered that (STATISTICS OF TARGET AUDIENCE) have increased through the introduction of this feature. However, this doesnt appeal to everyone as is shown by the success of (NAME OF PUBLICATION), they have remained successful by only focussing on the MOST POPULAR BANDS AND ARTISTES. (NAME OF ANOTHER ONLINE PUBLICATION) has like Revolutionary Publications found that social Media has been vital in developing readership, fullling as it does their needs for Personal ID and Social Interaction (U&G Theory). Allowing them the chance to comment and get involved as you have done with your tweet, has risks to do with moderation of unsuitable comment but on balance is vital in our interactive web world. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Grooveshark, Spotify all have a role to play and not only help the readership/audience connect but also benet the wider marketing of the magazine virally.
