The execution in reverting teaching maths and science in Malay language seem harsh and hasty in reflecting Malaysian as real coward in handling challenges. Those who are brought up be the education system of the 70’s will experience the benefit of studying maths and science in English. The vast collection of books and website in English do not put an inherent to explore unlimited scientific knowhow exploding from the kitchen to the fixing of my computer. The unlimited tribute of English put me well in the working environment and business. We have little problem when going around any four corners of the world. Lessons should be learnt on the impact of the switch over after 1980 about sudden drop in the standard of English usage by our people after that. They have difficulties in creating simple scientific or business report without profession help overseas like Singapore. Malaysian is a multicultural society with a variety of superb resources who are relatively intelligent people but are drag by serious setbacks with skeptical education background when creating an English report. No wonder so many international entrepreneurs complaint about the poor presentation of reports and working altitude with low productivity by our people when generating simple reports (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc). Perhaps the Malays are instinct to fail like Malacca sultans who lasted for incredible short history after protections are withdrawn. I feel terrible pity to the Malays being so cowardly when coming to simple challenges. I wonder how long majorities of Malays have to depend on the government for source of income and remain comfortably satisfy as a weak race waiting to be crumpled because not eager to learn new things. Malays should realize the important of English as a technological language for the survival of your race. It’s a fact. Don’t try to compare with the Japanese or Europeans as you are ignorantly making serious moron mistake. Are you going to make sacrifices like Japanese or back to the future having the history like the Chinese? I am pity for the Malays and as a friend my advice is try to adapt to the changes by adopting English in learning maths and science for the good of your race and the country. Please do not revert to Malay language
