Hov Pod SPX 4 stroke 120 HP Turbo
The Hov Pod SPX 4/Turbo personal hovercraft offers superiorperformance, with quieter operation, better efficiency, cleaneremissions and extended operating range from one tank of fuel.Hovercraft need to be as lightweight as possible, but so oftenin the past, lightweight construction has compromisedhovercraft durability and strength. The Hov Pod SPX hullconstruction is unique; manufactured from High DensityPolyethylene (HDPE). We believe that the Hov Pod is the firstpersonal leisure hovercraft to be manufactured from thislightweight but extremely buoyant, impact resistant material.The same material is used for construction of Formula 1 Racecrash barriers and artificial joints. Our designers specificallydesigned the Hov Pod to be suitable for marine leisure andcommercial use in salt-water conditions. Some day, allhovercraft will be made this way.Engine - Weber 4 stroke 120 HP Turbo - fitted with electricstart fitted as standard. This engine delivers turbo chargedpower for improved performance.2 stroke engines although ideal for hovercraft construction(lightweight with excellent power to weight ratios) are morepolluting than 4 stroke engines, and in some areas of theworld, legislations are restricting use of 2 stroke engines.The Weber 4 stroke 120 HP Turbo engine delivers terrificpower, and the better fuel economy, extends the range of operation per tank of fuel.
