is the result of a partnership between CSM Football and theEnglish Department. Coaches and English Professors work together to provide you supporton the field and in the classroom. The best way to ensure athletic and academic success isthrough teamwork, commitment, and dedication.

English courses—828, 838, and 100/101—are taught by Englishfaculty, all of whom are dedicated to your success. courses are the same as thoserequired of you for participation on our football team, whether you are an active member or aGrey Shirt or Red Shirt. The consequences for not following CSM Football guidelines are thesame in the classroom as they are on the field.
As a

student-athlete, you are expected to

Attend and be to class on time(seated at 5 minutes after the hour, ready to start at 10 after)
•
Come to class prepared(homework complete, reading finished, essay printed)
•
Call or email your instructor if you cannot attend class, conferences, or other scheduled meetings
•
Ask questions when you need help on any type of assignment
•
Conference with any of the

instructors regularly
•
Maintain a high level of respect for yourself, your peers, coaches, and instructors
