Love is hard to come by. Holding onto love is harder. Finding perfect love is damn near impossible. Lucas Colby has discovered the lies of his life and knows he must now seek the truth. He will find that love only comes to those not seeking perfection, and the truth lies within him.

At eighteen, and just before he left home, he killed Theo Finley.
No one in town would’ve believed him, and there was no way he was going to hang for the death of Finley, so he chucked a lantern down the hallway toward the back of the house and watched it explode against the wall. The blue yellow flames raged across the wooden floor and he stood there for a moment. At the time, the whole thing made perfect sense.
The lesson learned in all these years taught him, never let deceit stay within your heart and allow a lie to come between you and the one you love. What you hold inside your heart will define you. It will define your life.
