Cancer Prevention Study 3 (CPS-3)

American Cancer Society Lake County Community Enrollment


CPS-3 is a new research study being conducted by the American Cancer Society that will help us better understand how to prevent cancer, which will save lives and create a world with more birthdays.

Who is eligible to participate?


Anyone who:
Is willing to make a commitment to the study by completing surveys at home every few years Is between 30 and 65 years old Has never been diagnosed with cancer (not including basal or squamous cell skin cancer)

How do I enroll?
Schedule your in-person enrollment appointment at www.LakeCPS3.org. Complete your detailed baseline survey at home before your appointment. In person, complete a short survey, informed consent, provide a confidential waist measurement, and give a small amount of blood (7 teaspoons), collected by a certified, trained phlebotomist.
