2009 - 2010 Executive Board Elections

The President shall:

1. Be informed of and oversee all related activities of the club and the club’scommittees.2. Help coordinate all activities within the club and the Rutgers Universitycommunity, and any activities having to do with the club that take place outsidethe Rutgers community.3. Represent the club as a liaison to other organizations.4. Appoint committee chairs with the consent of the other members of the board.5. Decide and coordinate, with help from the executive board, which speakersto invite and when they are to speak.6. Call the executive board officers together in order to make decisions, plan for any activities and divide the duties as properly and fairly as possible.

The Vice President shall:

1. Schedule rooms for all meetings.2. Accept the responsibilities of the president, if and when the president is unableto perform his/her duties.3. Take/manage pictures of club trips, meetings, etc.

The Secretary shall:

1. Present a detailed agenda at each meeting.2. Take detailed notes (minutes) at each meeting.3. Take attendance of all members at each function unless otherwise requested bythe president.4. With respect to attendance, the secretary can offer opinions about club participation and active/inactive members; however the ultimate decision of inactivity is left up to the entire board.5. Send updates and records of events to the AMS no more than two (2) weeksafter each meeting or event.6. Update the bulletin board in the ENR building.

The Treasurer shall:

1. Present a detailed report of the club’s financial situation at each meeting.2. Keep detailed records of all financial transactions.3. Withdraw and deposit money into/from the club’s account when necessary or asked to do so by the executive board.

The Webmaster shall:

1. Maintain and update the meteorology club website on a constant basis.2. Assimilate with the rest of the club and executive board about materials togo on the website.3.Run and maintain photos that are submitted as entries in the clubs monthlyphoto contest
