Experiencing Christ: Connecting

The Experiencing Christ Together student edition contains everything you need to facilitate small groups that help students learn more about Jesus. Find inspiration through a complete lesson, or just some prompts to move your group along. This series gives you the chance to introduce your students to the godly, human, shocking, saving person of Jesus. Each book includes all the scripture for a given lesson, the student-friendly commentary, and individual questions and experiences to deepen and strengthen a small group.

Connecting in Jesus, the second title in the series, helps students experience Jesus’ love for them and understand how to share that love with others. Six sessions cover the most difficult aspects of loving people:

What does Jesus’ love look like, and what does it have to do with me?
What is the cost of loving?
How do I love flawed people?
How do I tell people hard truths about themselves?
How can forgiveness help me love well?
What does the cross have to do with loving others?
Connecting in Jesus will take your students beyond the feeling of love and into the difficult yet rewarding decision to put love into action.

Connecting in Jesus is the second of six books in the Experiencing Christ Together series, a comprehensive collection of small group studies for students that presents the person and work of Jesus through five biblical purposes—fellowship, discipleship, service, evangelism, and worship. Each book in the series contains six sessions that connect students with each other, help them study Scripture, teach them to apply what they're learning, and encourage them to track their spiritual progress. Each session includes Scripture, worksheets, journal prompts, memory verses, and daily readings that let you fashion the curriculum to fit your group’s specific needs.

Three optional teaching DVDs get you and your kids digging deeper with teaching from some of the top biblical facilitators in the country.
