1.0 Introduction
1.1 About Global Peace Youth Corps (GPYC)
The Global Peace Youth Corps (GPYC) is an international non-profit organization that has its headquarters in Washington D.C., USA. As an affiliate of the Global Peace Festival Foundation (GPFF), GPYC supports the international Global Peace Festival movement. The Global Peace Festival Foundation, a non-profit corporation chartered in the United States of America, is a global alliance of individuals and organizations dedicated to building a world of peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony, cooperation, and prosperity. The GPFF promote innovative peace-building by facilitating interfaith and intercultural cooperation, strengthening of marriages and families and fostering a culture of service.

1.2. About International Youth Exchange


The International Youth Exchange (IYE) is a program that provides a platform for undergraduate students to exchange ideas and have experiential learning through community service. Besides, it is also an opportunity to raise young leaders of character, values and virtues. Students from various universities are expected to attend a series of IYE Korea planned from August 2012 onwards which aims to create a caring community within the university compound. IYE provide change maker and global leader education with unification project contest, vision and core values education, practice the core values, and challenge program. Through this program, students will learn more about the value and principle of Moral and Innovative Leadership which is the basic for nation building.

4.0 Pre-Program
Unification project 2012, a global collage students contest Contest Theme Schedule Innovative projects that will spread the wish and urgency for reunification 1.Start from May, form teams from IYE Participants 2.Carry out project, up till July 10th and Submit results/final report by July 10th (power point) 3.Presentation and award ceremony on August 12 (during IYE) Grand Prize (1 team) USD 1,500$ Gold (2 teams) USD 1,000$ Silver (3teams) USD 500$ For the grand prize and gold prize winning teams, up to 3 people in each team will receive support / coverage of IYE fee
