Ft. Walton Beach—
Okaloosa County property owners, who have signed up toparticipate in the Installment Payment Plan through the Tax Collector’s Office, have aone day extension to pay their first installment which is due on June 30
th
. Because thelast day of the month falls on a Sunday this year, the early payment deadline will beextended to Monday, July 1. Tax Collector Ben Anderson says, “Discounts for earlypayments are set forth in Florida Statutes, therefore those on the InstallmentPayment Plan realize significant savings by meeting the quarterly paymentdeadlines.” He continues, “We want to be proactive in reminding those participatingin the Installment Plan about the deadlines so they don’t lose the discounts and thisopportunity.”For property owners to utilize the Installment Payment Plan, the first payment mustbe made by July 1

. After the first payment is made, the remaining payments are due:September 30

, December 30

and March 31
st
