Create an iMovie Project:
Step 1: Click on the iMovieicon in the dock and wait,while it bounces, for theapplication to open. Select"Create Project."Step 2: In the "Save as:" field,enter your_name for the nameof the movie.Step 3: Now click "Save" andyou should see the emptyiMovie interface with"iMovie:yourname" at the top.
Inserting Titles
Step 1: Click on the "Title" tab.Step 2: Choose a title from thescrolling window. The editableoptions will change dependingon which title you choose.Step 3: Customize your title.
Importing Photos
Step 1: Select the "Photos" tab.Step 2: Choose a photo toimport into your project.Step 3: Select the length youwould like your photo toremain on the screen.
Voice Overs
Step 1: Click on the Audio tab below the clip pane. If your microphone is plugged in, youshould already see a mic level below the audio pane.Step 2: Place the cursor whereyou wish to begin thevoiceover, click on the red button beside the audio level,and begin speaking your voiceover into the mic.Step 3: Click again on the redrecord button to stop recording.
Exporting Your Movie
Step 1: Save your project.Step 2: Select the iDVD tab.Step 3: Click the "Create iDVDProject" button.Step 4: iDVD will openautomatically.
Creating a Free Website:
Step1: Go to weebly.comStep 2: Click “sign up” andenter a desired username, password, and valid emailaddress.Step 3: Click “start creating”.Step 4: Give a title to your website and click “continue”.Step 5: At the top of the pagethere will be separate tabs thatsay “elements, pages, designs,and settings”.Step 6: First select your  preferred design.Step 7: To add a page, click on“pages” and click “new page”. Next, choose “yes” or “no” tochoose whether or not to make page one of your main links.Step 8: Click “Save”.Step 9: When you click on the“Elements” tab that will helpyou start to edit.Step 10: Click on the “Publish” button to put your page live onthe Internet.
Create your own Publication:
Microsoft Publisher includescustomizable templates such asnewsletters, brochures, flyers, postcards, invoices, letters,receipts, resumes, stationary,and more.Step 1: On the File menu,click “New”Step 2: Click the “Publications by Wizard” tabStep 3: In the Wizards pane,click the type of publicationyou wantStep 4: In the right pane, click the design you wantStep 5: Click “Start Wizard”Step 6: To make changes to the publication's color scheme,layout, or personal informationnow, click “Next”.Step 7: When you finishmaking changes, click “Finish”Step 8: In you publicationreplace the placeholder textand pictures with your own or with other objects.Step 9: On the File menu, click “Save”Step 10: In the Save In box,select the folder where youwant to save the new publicationStep 11: In the File name box,type a name for your  publicationStep 12: Click Save
Create a Slideshow:
Step 1: Choose if you want touse a design template or a blank presentation.Step 2: To insert a new slide,click “Insert” and “Select NewSlide”.Step 3: To format a slide, click “Format” at the top of thescreen and select “ApplyDesign Template”. Next, selectthe design you wish to applyclick “Apply” button,
Inserting Clip Art
Step 1: Display the slide youwant to add a picture to.Step 2: Click “Insert” at the topof the screenStep 3: Select PictureStep 4: When you are finishedusing the Clip Gallery, click the“Close” button on the ClipGallery title bar Step 5: Steps 1-4 are verysimilar when inserting other Pictures, Objects, Movies,Sounds, and Charts
Adding Transitions to Slides
Step 1: On the Slide Showmenu at the top of the screen,click “Slide Transition”Step 2: In the Effect box, click the transition you want, andthen select any other optionsyou want.Step 3: To apply the transitionto the selected slide, click “Apply”.Step 4: To apply the transitionto all the slides, click “Apply toAll”.Step 5: Repeat the process for each slide you want to add atransition to.Step 6: To view the transitions,on the Slide Show menu, click “Animation Preview”.
