Dear Baker College, You are cordially invited to take part in a global incentive , One Million Bones ,which has taken up the duty to raise awareness to past and current genocides throughout the world by having communities work together to reach this goal. One Million Bones is a fundraising art movement whose purpose is to represent the millions upon millions of lives lost during past and ongoing genocides. The target is to reach one million bones created by communities which will reach their destination to Washington D.C. , and will be displayed on the National Mall the spring of 2013. To support this cause Allen Park High School is hosting a bone building event April 11, 2013 , we have put our time and effort for this project. We understand that currently our economy might cause you to be unable to donate as much as you would like to our cause but every single cent counts , and we would also appreciate your time .Currently ,every bone we make will count as $1 ,reaching up to $500,000 by the generous Bezos Family Foundation which will go to refugees of Somalia and The Democratic Republic of Congo. Bones can be made in honor of people who can not attend the event for only five dollars. Five dollars currently feeds a family of six for two and a half weeks in this areas that are critically affected .
