Glymetrix built the game zone
to help solve one of the biggest problems faced by people with diabetes:
“Diabetes is in your face all the time”
There is a hugeneed for diabetes management tools that are designed to provide support and motivation for better self management.
“this is not in my face.”
–Game zone user.We built the game zone to be a fun experience, and to reward people for taking the steps neededto manage their diabetes. We believe this is the only software application designed for adultsthat gives you a reward for testing your blood sugar. It’s designed to fit into people’s life style.Managing diabetes takes a lot of time, and can leave people feeling they lack control:
“This isless intrusive, you can approach it because no one is putting a fish hook into you andreeling you in. Its user controlled, at my convenience.”
It’s designed to be a better tool than the current set of tools.

“Data from the game could help trouble shoot my problems when meeting my CDE or doctor. This could also go a long way to help me not feel like a pile of *** ****.Sometimes they just yell at you, afterwards I would go into my car and cry.
