What happens is that the pancreas of the patient won’t be able to produce insulin anymore and because of that, he will have to takein insulin on a daily basis for the rest of his life. What is Type 2 Diabetes?This type develops in adults. It may be caused by different factors such as obesity, being inactive and old age. It is the most common and doesn’t have to depend oninsulin. What is Gestational Diabetes?This type develops only in certain women while they are pregnant. Their bloodsugar level will go back to normal after the baby was delivered. Women whoacquired Gestational Diabetes during pregnancy should be monitored because itcan sometimes lead to the development of Type 2 Diabetes with in a span of 5 to10 years.
