Photolibrary Group Signs Exclusive Content Licensing Agreement withVisitBritain, the UK's National Tourist Board
London- May 2009:
Following on from a tender process, the Photolibrary Group is pleased to announce that is has been awarded the license tomanage and distribute exclusively the imagery and footage collection of Britain on View, the on-line image resource of VisitBritain.This collection represents the UK's Official Tourism Image Collection offering unique images of both Britain as a destination and of British life. The tender process was won against major industry players and shows our commitment to providing our customerswith the broadest possible reach of content. As part of the long term license arrangement, Photolibrary will develop and manage acommercially orientated website specializing in UK related material, www.britainonview.com. This site is due for launch on 1 July
2009. VisitBritain also intend to invest in further image production over the coming few years to add more content to the alreadysubstantial archive.
