Saturday Team runs like a day of camp… rotating riding lessons,barn chores & pony school. Thecost is $50/Saturday (this is inaddition to your monthly lessonfee) & hours are 8:00am-noon. Allstudents Level Silver & above are welcome.The Sarabande SuperStarsSaddlebred Club will meet rightafter Team ends at noon. Show Team Members participating in theMay Equistar Show will leave on Fridayafternoon, May 22. We will have a pizzadinner at Freeman Farms that evening,participate in a workshop on how a showis run (planning, coordination, rules, judging criteria, etc) & stay the night atthe barn house. Please bring sleepingbag, pillow, essentials & show clothes(including clean boots & helmet).Show starts at 8:30am Saturday morning& will last most of the day- there will beclasses in Saddle Seat & Hunt Seatdivisions. We will again spend Saturdaynight at the farm, and then Sundaymorning we will attend the BBQ hostedby Freeman Farms. We will head back toTucson sometime around noon & returnto Sarabande around 4:00pm.Cost for the entire weekend is $150 perstudent (includes food, transportation &show fees), which needs to be paid inadvance of the trip. If interested, pleasesign up at the barn ASAP or emailsarabandestables@yahoo.com so Betsycan schedule participants and horses inappropriate classes. Parents, please letus know ASAP if you would be willing todrive so we can coordinate carpools.
*There will be no afternoon/evening lessonson Friday, May 22 & no Saturday Team May 23due to the Equistar Show

sleepover- Friday/Saturday, May 8/9
There will be a Teen (10 years & older) Jump Workshop on Saturday, May 8 inBenson at the J-Six Equestrian Centertaught by National Level Jump Instructor,Colleen Garcia. Those students attendingthe workshop may also participate in asleepover at Sarabande the night before(Friday, April 10).Cost for the entire weekend will be $150per student (includes food, transportation& workshop). Please sign up at the barnby next Wednesday, May 6 & and leave$150 check payable to Sarabande.
*Lessons will be held as usual on Friday, May8, however, there will be no Saturday TeamMay 9 due to the Jump Workshop.

This is a great, low-key, low- pressure opportunity forcurrent show team members to refine their skills, as well as those wanting to "try" a show for the first time.It is an all-day show with classes in Saddle Seat & HuntSeat Divisions. We will ask participants to be there at8:30am.If interested, please sign up at the barn ASAP or emailsarabandestables@yahoo.com so Betsy can scheduleparticipants and horses in appropriate classes. There will be a $50 show deposit due upon sign-up. Even if you are not participating in the show, we encourage everyone to come out &support your fellow Sarabanders atthis local show.
