Require on the City website contact information (Phone & E-Mail) of all elected officials, the CityManager, and the head administrator for each department, with a clear explanation of what eachdoes in the City.19. Make available on line a listing of all City assets (buildings, lots, etc), the approximate value andcurrent use of each.20. Require the posting of compensation information for each individual employee including Wages,Salary, Overtime, Health, Dental, Life, Pension, etc.21. Require that the City website include rules governing contracts for the last 5-years; including bidsand contracts for purchases over $25,000 and the vendor's campaign contributions posted withcontract.22. Require that the City website post and update detailed information for any type of tax or fee that itlevies including sales, property, income, and miscellaneous taxes, fees on residents &businesses.23. Disclose the travel and expenditures of the Mayor and City Council on a monthly basis.24. Re
quire the City website to provide easy to find information on the City’s Freedom of Informationprocess and the City’s FOIA Officer.
25. Establish a Citizen Long Beach Commission on Ethics to review, interpret, render advisoryopinions
and enforce the City’s Code of Ethics, Lobbyist Registration and Post Employment
Restrictions. Require that all City employees receive training in ethics and the process for reporting fraud, waste and abuse.26. Require that the annual budget contain details
concerning the City’s unfunded liabilities and the

Slow the revolving door by prohibiting appointees to the City’s Planning Commission, Harbor
Commission, Water Commission and Parks and Recreation Commission for two years after leaving these commissions from appearing before any agency of the City or be paid for workingon any matter that is before the City.28. Prohibit the City Manager, Department Heads, Mayor and City Council Members for two yearsafter leaving office/employment from appearing before any agency of the City or be paid for working any matter that is before the City.29. Require the City Manager to utilize an automated time keeping system that tracks the dailyattendance of all City employees instead of allowing employees to manually fill out a time sheetevery two weeks.30. Disclose quarterly crime statistics by Council District.31. Require that the City website include a Checkbook Register and Credit Card expenditures to allindividuals and third-party vendors on a quarterly basis.32. Make available on line regular audit information for the past 5-years, specifically the
comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the agency’s total performance. Additionally,
the website should include special project report results (such as special construction projects),audit schedules and performance audits for government programs.33. Prohibit the Mayor and City Council from interfering in the decisions of commissions and boards.
