Although Social Networking is a very (fun!) important part of the THEBRAND and the Marketing Department’s efforts, it is also crucial to our public persona and PR efforts. Furthermore, social networking will assistin Damage Control, Maven Recognition & Image branding as we find our online voice.People join social networks to socialize, share and self-promote. They arenot receptive to marketing messages or sales hype, but they do seekanswers and advice. If you have experience and expertise of relevance,they may value your altruistic contributions to the social network.Social media—and the web itself—is based on trust. Trust is gained byhelping, advising and educating our audience. Promotional messages andads are ignored and/or despised. But good advice, free samples andinstructional materials are actively sought, enjoyed and respected.The #1 goal of social networking & blogging is to direct traffic to the mainwebsite or blog page, as well as supply the world with the most up-to-dateand correct laser tattoo removal information and industry relatedinformation.
