Indiegogo Expands in Canada With NewPayment Options and a Celebration of Groundbreaking Campaigns at Events inToronto and Montreal
 SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwired - June 19, 2013)-
Indiegogo, the world's largest global crowdfunding platform, hasannounced a new payment option that simplifies how Canadians fundcampaigns. Indiegogo campaigners who run campaigns in Canadiandollars are now able to accept credit card payments, in addition toPayPal, and receive funds in Canadian dollars (CAD), whether thesefunds are coming in from Nova Scotia, New York or New Delhi. This feature means that funds stay as CAD and are disbursed in CAD,rather than being exchanged into USD. The end result is savings onforeign exchange, wire and bank fees and a higher potential total takehome amount for Canadian dollar campaigns on Indiegogo."Our goal as a company is to democratize funding world-wide toempower people to raise money for the projects that matter to themmost," said Danae Ringelmann, co-founder of Indiegogo.
