Description

By G. Karamanoglou "GK" (New York, NY)

In this fascinating read, Mr.Gurel proposes that all of life's interactions are composed of a multitude of energetic ordered exchanges which can produce cacophonous chaos, or dulcet harmonies. The analog of music is used to highlight how these interactions occur in the most subtle of spaces, from the tiny voids between human molecules to the grand arenas of cosmic physics, to produce complex symphonies borne out as humans, in turn interacting to produce pain, suffering, healing, and love in personal and global scales.

In this reality based sci-fi fabric Mr. Gurel weaves a story that will resonate with today's events...full of economic turmoil, international political intrigue and meta-physical yearning.

This is an offering that will make you think. While reading an enjoyable sci-fi thriller with similarities to Creighton and Iles, you will also learn much about the possibilities of modern medicine and warfare.

By Timothy P. Knauth

This is a book to enjoy, to savor, to learn from- I will certainly re-visit it again and again! "Waves-The Trilogy" entertains and enriches- This Book helps you think outside the box.

By Thomas A. Nawara (Naperville, IL)

I recently finished Waves on my Kindle and was impressed by the intricacy of the story lines and the unique vehicle allowing the reader to weave them together...or read them separately. This book in three interleaved parts (Melody, Harmony and Rhythm) not only tells the thrilling story of Tomas and his Faustian quest to develop the Novum Organum, but also delivers an education on both the basics and bleeding edge of music, medicine, chemistry, biology and physics. As a page-turner that also makes you think, Waves is not your typical novel, but is all the more enjoyable because of it. Highly recommended!
