Kingdom Hearts III “not adirect sequel to II”
Source:http://sgcafe.com/2013/06/kingdom-hearts-iii-not-direct-sequel-ii/By Zenko on June 20th, 2013
Although it has only been a week since the initial news brokeat E3, Famitsu has released the latest news on the upcomingKingdom Hearts 3. After six years of waiting, fans were ecstatic to hear thatthe next numbered game in the Kingdom Hearts series wasgoing to be released. With initially just a trailer and consolenames, there was not much info about the upcoming sequel. In the latest issue of Famitsu, however, an interview withseries creator Tetsuya Nomura has helped to fill in some of the holes and questions on everyone’s mind.It should be no surprise that Kingdom Hearts III is not adirect sequel to Kingdom Hearts II, but a sequel to KingdomHearts 3DS in much the same way the second game was acontinuation of Chain of Memories. It will, however, bringthe storyline surrounding Master Xehanort to a close and be the last chapter in what’s called the Seeker of Darknesssaga. That means finally defeating an enemy that has beenplaguing the series for seven games and should provideexciting opportunities for the series afterwards. As for graphics, the previously announced Kingdom Shaderhas been developed for the game to provide a bettermesh between main characters and the Disney worlds. Inparticular, it was created to give the look and feel of Disney illustrations. This should provide not only a smoother feelingto the game but also add more depth to previously visitedlocations.

Speaking of worlds, and NPC from each one will be able to join your party without having to shuffle Donald and Goofy in and out of battle. Not only will you have the ability to travel with three party members, but as you progress throughoutthe game their AI will change and develop based on play style. The AI for enemies will also change to compensate, though, adding a level to the game that has never been seen. Whether Kairi or Riku will be playable is not answereddirectly, but rather with a vague “it’s possible.” Time will tellthough, as more news has been promised at this years TokyoGame Show and Disney 23 in the fall.Source:Famitsu
The Bureau: XCOMDeclassified to receivedownloadable content
Source:http://sgcafe.com/2013/06/bureau-xcom-declassified-receive-downloadable-content/By Zenko on June 20th, 2013
In a press release 2K and 2K Marin are showing that they  want to give fans more to play beyond launch content. For those looking to purchase The Bureau: XCOMDeclassified but aren’t sure just how satisfying or expansivethe game will be, you can rest easy as the alternate 1962timeline is set to receive DLC that features strong narrativeelements. The game, set to release for the Xbox 360, PC and Playstation3 on August 23, takes place during the Cold War whenfear and paranoia run rampant. It is up to Special Agent William Carter to lead a covert operation against invadingalien forces of the extraterrestrial kind. The player in this 3rdperson shooter will lead a small squad to defend humanity and keep the secret war under wraps. With an expansivestoryline from the creators of the Minerva’s Den DLC forBioshock 2, it is understandable that the story behind TheBureau cannot be limited to the main game. The DLC content will be made available after the game’sinitial launch to Xbox 360 owners first, with PC and PS3owners to receive it shortly afterwards. Owner’s of allthree consoles can receive a special downloadable mission, though, when it is ordered through select retailers. Themission, called Codebreakers, will start with enemy radiotransmissions going silent. It is up to the player and theirsquad to bring the enemy facility back online, figure out thecode, and of course, dispatch any enemy threats in the area. As Morgan Gray, development director at 2K Marin says,“there are many more stories to tell about the early daysof XCOM” which means players can look forward to aslew of exciting content. A trailer showing off the shootingaction can be found on the official YouTube accountof thecompany.
