Breeding is quite difficult, because there are large temperature deviations betweennight and day. Males need a long time after their adult moult until they are ready for mating.A cocoon consists of up to 600 eggs. Spiderlings are only 2 mm large. The cocoon iscovered with urticating hairs.
27-29°C, local 30°C, night turn down to room temperature
Halogen Sun Mini in combination with the Thermo Socket PLUS is a sufficient heatand light source.
We recommend the use of Jungle Bedding or Coir. But the substrate should not be towet. Does not need to be deep as this spider does not dig.
